The dowels are graded in size for use at any stage of recovery. Using dowels challenges patients to "feel the progress" as their hand range of motion improves. Grasping the dowels while performing specific exercises gives them the kinesthetic feedback their hand needs to make gains. The dowels come with a set of full-color exercise cards to help guide the patient through the appropriate exercise.  Sample cards are provided for review. Card designs may vary. Even if the patient has achieved full range of motion, the dowels then become an excellent complement to your clinic exercise programs.
